  • ESG Program Competition Webinar: Process and Roles for Regional Leadership

    NCCEH staff will host a webinar on June 11, 2025, at 11 AM to review the process and timeline for the CY2026 ESG Program Annual Allocation funding competition for the NC BoS CoC. Please plan to attend if you are new to regional leadership or would like a refresher on this process. This webinar will provide detailed information on the competition itself and your role as Regional Leadership in ensuring the competition is successful in terms of completing Regional Review Forms that will be sent to you the afternoon of July 15.     This session will provide important guidance related to the NC BoS CoC’s Fair Housing Policy. Attendance is required for all ESG and CoC Program grantees. The webinar will ensure that all grantees remain in compliance with Fair Housing Policy requirements and are familiar with the most recent policy updates. This training will review the Counting Us App for Emergency Shelters, Transitional Housing, Rapid Re-Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing projects in the NC Balance of State CoC that do not participate in HMIS. The Counting US App is an easy, effective way to make sure the folks you serve are counted! You can access this app on smartphones, tablets, or computers with an internet connection. We used this same app last year but there have been some updates you'll want to try out. Register now to join us for this training and live demo!   • FY2026 CoC Competition: Renewal Applicant Pre-Competition Webinar

    This pre-competition webinar is designed for existing CoC Program grantees in the North Carolina Balance of State Continuum of Care. NCCEH staff will share information about anticipated components of the FY2026 CoC Program Competition and provide direction on implementing new Written Standards that adhere to HUD requirements. We will also discuss NCCEH’s plan and progress to reduce applicants’ administrative burden in the local competition. Specific guidance and application requirements are subject to change after the release of the FY2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).     This webinar is designed for eligible applicants who are interested in applying for a new project in the FY2026 CoC Program Competition. We invite you to attend whether or not you have previously engaged with the NC Balance of State Continuum of Care—however, you must be located within our 79-county coverage area to apply in our local CoC Program competition. NCCEH staff will share information about how to construct a good application, how to uphold grantee responsibilities, and anticipated components of the FY2026 CoC Program Competition. We will also provide an overview of our local competition process. Specific guidance and application requirements are subject to change after the release of the FY2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) in the coming months.
