On April 28, the City of Raleigh's Project, Let's Impact the Future Together (LIFT), will host its second "Resource Raleigh" conference. Titled "Resource Raleigh: Ready for the Recovery," the workshops and networking activities will focus on strengthening local and statewide nonprofit organizations.

 

The 12 workshops will cover grant writing, volunteer management, fundraising, and legal issues facing nonprofit organizations. Networking activities will bookend the conference, giving participants opportunities to improve their connections and share information within the non-profit sector.

 

Speakers include professionals from the nonprofit world and the private sector such as Ruth Peebles, president and founder of Innovative Nonprofit Solutions (INS) Group, Ashley Perkinson, an attorney from Perkinson Law Firm, and Jeanne Allen from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
