On Tuesday, December 7th Partners Ending Homelessness Housing Opportunities & Education Initiative will host a free training entitled Fair Housing Laws & the Homeless Delivery System. This training will provide Homeless Service Providers with a better understanding of what laws and rules apply to emergency shelters, transitional housing, and permanent housing. It will also educate and inform attendees on reasonable accommodations, serving individuals with disabilities and working with the undocumented immigrant population. Service Providers will learn policies, procedures, and rules necessary to minimize the risk of violating Fair Housing Laws.
