Description

The 4th annual Project Homeless Connect Orange County will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Hargraves Community Center in Chapel Hill.

Project Homeless Connect Orange County (PHC) is a one-day, one-stop center to link people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness with a broad range of services. Guests are offered assistance with housing, employment, health and dental care, foot care, mental health care, veterans’ benefits, social service benefits, legal services, and more. They also receive lunch and are offered haircuts, showers, and coats.  Project Homeless Connect is a key initiative of the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness.

Project Homeless Connect is a truly grassroots event that provides opportunities for members of the entire community to contribute their efforts, talents, and compassion to help end homelessness. Please visit our website, www.phc-orange.org, to learn how you can become involved in helping to plan Project Homeless Connect, to volunteer at the event, and to donate goods and financial support.
