The Atlanta Real Estate Collaborative (AREC) is a group of private individuals who apply their extensive real estate experience to address homelessness. AREC’s members have found that having a seat at the table while working collaboratively with the necessary parties can result in favorable outcomes relative to policy, costs, results, and communication. This effective model may have some application for North Carolina’s rental housing industry.

Aaron Goldman, President of Perennial Properties, Inc., is a founding member of AREC and will meet virtually with a select group of NC industry leaders to explain this innovative model and discuss its application in North Carolina.
