The Piedmont Regional Continuum of Care Committee is hosting its sixth annual Housing Forum, "Working Together to End Homelessness." 
 
Speakers will include representatives from HUD, the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, the
Veteran’s Administration, Cooperative Christian Ministries, and our keynote speaker will be Martha Are, the Acting Director of the Office of Housing and Homelessness in the State Department of Health and Human Services. There will also be a panel of persons who have been homeless sharing their experiences.
 
We will be looking at what steps can be taken, what resources are available, and what we all can do to end homelessness and help develop affordable housing and services for those individuals and families living in our region who are most in need.  Please click here for an agenda.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, and this Health Care for the Homeless Council webinar will address the diagnosis and treatment of TBI in the homeless population. The co-incidence of homelessness and TBI can lead to medical, social, behavioral, mental, cognitive and economic decline in an individual.
