Community Event

On Thursday, March 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. ET, the Alliance and its Center for Capacity Building will host its fourth Virtual Discussion on implementing the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP). Last month, over 300 participants representing 200 cities from across the country met online to discuss some of their challenges and successes preventing homelessness and rapidly re-housing those that have become homeless using the HPRP program. The discussions have focused on topics such as:
  • Rent Arrears and Rent Reasonableness;
  • Reassessments and Recertification;
  • HPRP Communications Strategies;
  • HPRP in Rural Communities; and
  • Program Eligibility.
To join this discussion, register for Community Share Net, the Alliance's online community. You can also view last month's discussion on the network. On the day of the Virtual Discussion, log into Community ShareNet and follow the instructions that will be at the top of the page.
