Prospective Grantees in the North Carolina Balance of State CoC
The NC BoS CoC coordinates applications for funding for homeless and housing programs: Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), which are administered through the State; Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funds, which are administered through HUD.
North Carolina’s ESG funds are intended to be used as part of a crisis response system using a low-barrier or high access, housing-focused approach to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and only experienced one time.

Request for Proposals (RFP):
The NC Balance of State CoC is issuing a Request For Proposals for the transfer of 3 currently operating CoC Program-funded grants: Community Link's Permanent Supportive Housing grant, Northern PSH Combo; Thrive's Permanent Supportive Housing grant, Pathways to Permanently Housed Combined; and Thrive's Rapid Rehousing grant, Thrive Rapid Rehousing.

Continuum of Care Program Notice of Funding Opportunity:
Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) publishes a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for Discretionary Programs through the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD).
