NC Balance of State CoC Application Information: 2021
The Continuum of Care (CoC) application is released by HUD on an annual basis.
The FY2021 CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) was released by HUD on August 19, 2021. All instructions and materials for this year's competition are posted below.
To apply for a new project in the FY2021 CoC competition, agencies must submit an intent to apply form (see the link below). Intent to apply forms must be submitted no later than September 1, 2021 at 6 PM. No new applications will be accepted from agencies without an intent to apply submission.
Applicants should read through the relevant instructions linked below (renewal/new/both) to understand what materials should be submitted and when. The CoC has set two submission dates for materials. Submitting materials on time is a major factor in whether your application will be considered for submission in the final CoC consolidated application. If you have questions, please ask these questions early and do not wait until close to the submission dates. All questions should be directed to bos@ncceh.org. The CoC does not intend to grant any extensions during this process.
2021 CoC Application
The NC Balance of State CoC is required by HUD to post the full CoC application and project priority listing prior to submission in esnaps. 2021 materials will be posted here as available.
2021 CoC Consolidated Application
NC Balance of State CoC agencies that are interested in applying for new (not renewal) funds in the 2022 CoC competition are asked to fill out the Intent to Apply form. It is mandatory that all agencies wanting to apply for new CoC funding complete an Intent to Apply this year. The deadline to submit the intent to apply will be two weeks after the release of the Notification of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
