Melissa Eastwood

Melissa Eastwood has been employed with Trillium Health Resources since September of 2016. From September 2016 to May 2020, Melissa worked as a housing coordinator, assisting in the development and implementation of Trillium’s housing programs and grants. Melissa worked to help expand the availability of decent, safe, and affordable housing for persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders in the MCO catchment area through collaboration with State and Federal agencies, community partners, private providers, and MCO staff. In May 2020, Melissa transitioned to the role of Neighborhood Connections Manager, dedicated to addressing unmet health-related resource needs. Melissa has her BS in Sociology with a Minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University. Prior to employment with Trillium, Melissa worked as the Executive Director of Operations for a private provider agency specializing in Mental Health, Substance Use, and IDD services. She has 14 years of experience in behavioral health prior to employment with Trillium. Melissa has been an active member of the regional committees in Regions 11 and 12. Melissa has previously served as the regional lead and the coordinated entry lead in Region 11.
