HMIS@NCCEH Launch

HMIS@NCCEH Launch Boarding Pass

HMIS@NCCEH is here for agencies and users in Durham, NC Balance of State, and Orange Continuums of Care (CoCs). The new Homeless Management Information System at the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness (HMIS@NCCEH) can be found here: HMIS@NCCEH Login

The North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness (NCCEH) currently provides HMIS support to the Durham, NC Balance of State, and Orange CoCs. In late 2017, the Durham, NC Balance of State, and Orange CoCs decided to leave NC HMIS and have designated NCCEH as their HMIS Lead Agency to create a new regional HMIS. This new HMIS has been created to better meet the needs identified by NCCEH and these CoCs. The map below shows the counties that will participate in HMIS@NCCEH.

HMIS@NCCEH has officially launched! Here’s what to expect:

  • All training, workflows, forms, etc. will be hosted by NCCEH at ncceh.org.
  • Users will no longer go to nchmis.org, the website run by MCAH, for forms or training.
  • Users will have a new ServicePoint website url to log in to.
  • All agreements (agency participation, user, and sharing agreements) will need to be re-signed with NCCEH as the HMIS Lead Agency. Signatures due by June 30, 2019. This will be done electronically with DocuSign.
Deciding to leave the statewide NC HMIS was not an easy decision. Read more about the decision in a message from our Executive Director, Denise Neunaber.

NC HMIS is no longer a statewide HMIS. The departure of three CoCs means that instead of one statewide HMIS, there are now two regional HMIS networks in North Carolina. Read a letter from the NC HMIS Governance Committee regarding the change to NC HMIS.
