Balance of State CoC Emergency Solutions Grant Call

The NC Balance of State CoC will hold an informational conference call and webinar regarding the FY2011b and FY2012 Emergency Solutions Grant funding (formerly Emergency Shelter Grant/HPRP) for agencies serving persons experiencing homelessness in Balance of State Continuum of Care counties. 
  • Who: All agencies located within the Balance of State CoC interested in learning about new ESG funding should attend. If you are an agency that received HPRP or Emergency Shelter Grant funding in prior years and are interested in applying for the new Emergency Solutions Grant funding, you should also attend. All Regional Leads are encouraged to attend and share this information with their Regional Committees. (Don't know if your county is in the BoS CoC? Click here to see a map.) 
  • What: The funding process and eligible activities for ESG have changed, and this call will discuss these changes. Unlike the Emergency Shelter Grant funding, this new Emergency Solutions Grant funding will be awarded thorough a state-wide competitive grant application process. On the call, Balance of State communities will learn the details of how to apply for ESG funding. 
  • When: The call will be on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 2:00PM-3:30PM. 
  • Where: Call-in information will be emailed to all registrants prior to the call.
