Ticket to Work and Chronic Homelessness Webinar: Let's Dig Deeper
The Social Security Administration (SSA) and CESSI, the Ticket to Work Program Manager for Recruitment and Outreach (PMRO), invite you to participate in a Ticket to Work Webinar for entities providing transition-to-work services to the chronic homelessness population.
This webinar, hosted by Cornell University's Employment and Disability Institute, will be an interactive session that will focus on an Employment Network (EN) model illustrating the potential income that can be generated by helping persons with disabilities achieve certain employment milestones and outcomes.
This will be a follow-up to the National Ticket Teleconference “Training to Help Homeless People with Disabilities Go to Work,” which was held on December 9, 2008. A topic that generated a lot of interest on that call related to the potential revenue stream that SSA's Ticket to Work Program can provide. For background information and to access the archived teleconference, please visit: www.cessi.net/ttw/en_menthealth-UCP/en_info4.html.
Presenters:
- John Rio, CRC Sr. Program Associate, Advocates for Human Potential

- David Jones, Account Manager, PMRO
