Disproportionality and Cultural Proficiency Webinar
This webinar will provide information on strengthening the cultural responsiveness of the services delivered to homeless youth. Presenters will discuss the framework necessary for delivering respite and crisis care. Special populations, including African-American, American Indian, and lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and two-spirited (LGBTQI2-S) youth are over-represented in the homeless youth population, which means there is a great deal of need for cultural sensitivity among youth service providers. This webinar will help professionals develop the service plans needed to best assist these youth.
