Back@Home Deep Dive Training: Engaging Landlords and Recruiting Units
Private market landlords hold the keys to permanent housing and are critical partners in the work to help people exit homelessness. This role has been further emphasized by the unprecedented and rapidly changing conditions related to COVID 19. Employing a proactive, affirmative landlord engagement system is one of the most efficient means of increasing the supply of available rental units for low-income and formerly homeless households and slowing the spread of disease throughout your community.
The purpose of this deep dive session is to examine how the current environment has shifted landlord practices and preferences and to discuss proven methods that support an effective, coordinated landlord outreach and engagement strategy on behalf of system.
